At Kids-Joy Nursery we strive to offer quality childcare for children from three months to five years of age. As a family run business, our ethos is to create a joyful environment for our children to develop.
Our principal aim is to provide an educationally stimulating environment, where children can learn and develop positively as individuals, feeling happy, secure encouraging them to develop to their full potential.
We aim to provide children with confidence and ability to communicate effectively with one another. We work within the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Weekly planning documents, which outlines scheduled activities. The curriculum covers seven areas of learning.
We believe that children learn through their play. All children should be cared for by adults who respect and understand them with an honest and open adult-child relationship. The main aim of our nursery is to provide a safe and reliable service for children to be able learn and develop.
Helping children to develop a positive sense of themselves and others, to form positive relationships and develop respect for others, to develop social skills and learn how to manage their feelings, to understand behaviour in groups and to have confidence in their own abilities.
Giving children opportunities to experience a rich language environment develop their confidence and skills in expressing themselves, and to speak and listen in a range of situations.
Providing opportunities for young children to be active and interactive, and to develop their coordination, control and movement. Help them to understand the importance of physical activity and to make healthy choices in relation food.
Enabling children to explore and play with a wide range of media and materials, as well as providing opportunities and encouragement for sharing their thoughts, ideas and feelings through a variety of activities in art, music, movement, dance, role-play, design and technology.

We will have a weekly delivery of sensory play equipment to participate with. Sensory play has been proven by research to strengthen the nerve connections in the pathways of the brain.
